Is your website a CMS?
A content management system bottom line is a website that allows you to add content easily without a lot of technical know-how needed. I personally prefer WordPress and recommend it to all my clients. These types of websites are perfect if you are going to be updating content regularly and a your budget doesn’t allow for a webmaster.
Where are you hosting?
You want to make sure your website is operating as fast as possible. Where your site is hosted will have a direct impact on this. The old adage you get what you pay for comes into play here. This is not where you would want to cut corners. Also, keep in mind that your site speed is also a ranking factor for Google. So the faster, the better.
Website conversion
Looking at your site’s data, i.e., how many website visits or your content is not enough. It would be best if you focused on conversion.
What is a conversion? Think of it as that handshake or cup of coffee with a potential client—that one on one interaction.
One great way to create conversion is by offering something of value to your visitors. Perhaps an applicable whitepaper offer integrated to your contact or newsletter form.
These are just a few easy tips to ensure you are getting the most value out of your digital budget. Stay tuned as I continue to share more great digital marketing tips and insights. #NerdzOn
